Football Recap: Oak Grove Eagles vs. Leigh Longhorns
Oak Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 27-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Leigh Longhorns. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Longhorns apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2017.
Zach Pistor had a dynamite game for Leigh, rushing for 115 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.2 yards per carry, and also picking up 38 receiving yards.
Oak Grove's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Leigh, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Coincidentally, both will both be playing Live Oak the next time they take the field. Leigh will host Live Oak at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, while Oak Grove will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on October 12th.
