Palm Desert barely beat La Quinta the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Aztecs blew past the Blackhawks 3-0 on Monday. The win was nothing new for the Aztecs as they're now sitting on six straight.

Palm Desert not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept La Quinta between 17 and 20 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20, 25-17.

La Quinta lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Serena Delgado, who had 15 digs, five aces, and one block. Another player making a difference was Karizmah Garcia, who had 21 digs.

Palm Desert's victory bumped their record up to 16-6. As for La Quinta, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-17 record this season.
