Softball Recap: Peters Township Takes a Loss

Peters Township lost against Thomas Jefferson on April 9th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Indians came up short against the Jaguars, falling 7-1. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Peters Township saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Raegan Niederberger, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Peters Township's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Thomas Jefferson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Peters Township will challenge rival Albert Gallatin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Thomas Jefferson is set to square off against their familiar foe Connellsville at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
