Basketball Recap: Kamryn Holcomb Key Part of a Team Effort in Bulldogs Win

Batesville won the last time they faced Jac-Cen-Del and things went their way on Friday too. The Batesville Bulldogs came out on top against the Jac-Cen-Del Eagles by a score of 64-56.

Batesville's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kamryn Holcomb, who went 6 of 8 en route to 17 points. The dominant performance gave Holcomb a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cade Kaiser, who went 6 for 7 on his way to 15 points and four blocks.

Batesville's record is now 5-7. As for Jac-Cen-Del, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Batesville has already played their next contest (against Franklin County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Jac-Cen-Del wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 41-40 loss against Waldron on the 18th.
