Softball Recap: Eatonville Drops Season-High Score on Steilacoom

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eatonville). Everything went their way against the Steilacoom Sentinels on Tuesday as they made off with a 25-7 win. The Cruisers have beaten the Sentinels the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Sentinels has come to flipping the script.

Eatonville got a massive performance out of Lila Downey, who went 2-for-4 with six RBI, two stolen bases, and one run. Those two stolen bases gave Downey a new career-high. Grace Field was another key player, going 3-for-4 with four runs and four RBI.

Eatonville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .578. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Eatonville's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Steilacoom, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
