Baseball Recap: Osage City Comes Up Short

Osage City was the 6-5 winner over Wellsville when they last played one another on Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 5-4 on Thursday.

Tyson Mullins made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Osage City has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Wellsville, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-5 record.

Looking ahead, Osage City will challenge Northern Heights at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Wellsville, they will head out to square off against Burlington at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
