Basketball Recap: Shenandoah Raiders vs. Monroe Central Golden Bears
The Shenandoah Raiders can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They secured a 39-35 W over Monroe Central. This was payback for Shenandoah, who suffered a 36-28 loss the last time these two teams met.
Shenandoah's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Blayne Stevens, who scored seven points along with ten rebounds and three steals. It was the first time this season that Stevens pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jonny Howard, who scored 12 points.
Shenandoah now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Monroe Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

As for Monroe Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rockets at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Union is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
