Basketball Game Preview: Sterling Rangers vs. Lee Ganders

Sterling is on a three-game streak of home losses, Lee a six-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Sterling Rangers will welcome the Lee Ganders at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Sterling is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against West Brook on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Sterling was dealt a 65-24 defeat at the hands of West Brook. The game marked the Rangers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Lee lost 55-29 to Beaumont United on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Ganders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1130th, while the Timberwolves are ranked 74th).

Sterling's loss dropped their record down to 17-14. As for Lee, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-26.

Everything came up roses for Sterling against Lee in their previous meeting back in January, as the team secured a 66-34 win. Does Sterling have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lee turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
