Meanwhile, McDonough ended up a good deal behind Stockbridge on Friday and lost 58-44. The loss continues a trend for the Warhawks in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost six in a row.

Jones County pushed their record up to 21-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.6 points per game. As for McDonough, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-15.
