Archbishop Hannan had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They snuck past the Brother Martin Crusaders with a 52-46 win on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for the Hawks as they're now sitting on 12 straight dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Archbishop Hannan will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Catholic at 7:15 p.m. on December 9. As for Brother Martin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bonnabel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
