Baseball Game Preview: Hauser Jets vs. Oldenburg Academy Twisters

The Hauser Jets will challenge the Oldenburg Academy Twisters at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Hauser is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They never let Rising Sun get on the board and left with a 13-0 win. The Jets are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 13 straight.

Hauser let Karson Stuckey and R.J. Foster run wild. Stuckey went 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double, while Foster went 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. Foster has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played.

Meanwhile, Oldenburg Academy got the win against Shawe Memorial on Saturday by a conclusive 10-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Twisters.

Hauser's victory bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Oldenburg Academy, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Hauser came out on top in a nail-biter against Oldenburg Academy in their previous meeting back in May, sneaking past 4-3. Do the Jets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Twisters turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
