Friday Harbor is a perfect 4-0 against Lynden Christian since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Wolverines will square off against the Lyncs at 12:30 p.m. Friday Harbor's pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so Lynden Christian's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Friday Harbor managed to slip by Orcas Island the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wolverines came up short against the Vikings on Friday, falling 7-0. The match marked the first time this year in which the Wolverines were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Lynden Christian strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over Blaine. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Lynden Christian pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Friday Harbor, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-2 record.

Friday Harbor took their victory against Lynden Christian in their previous meeting back in March of 2022 by a conclusive 9-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
