Volleyball Recap: Crockett Takes a Loss

Crockett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Mumford Mustangs.

Leading Mumford to victory were Ashlen Sloan and Nancy Galvan. Sloan had 17 assists, while Galvan had six digs and two aces. Sloan is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last 13 games she's played.

Crockett's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Mumford, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Crockett will take on Groveton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mumford, they will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Founders Christian at 3:00 p.m.
