Basketball Recap: Ninilchik Takes a Loss

Ninilchik was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 40-14 to the Susitna Valley Rams. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-12 last Tuesday.

Ninilchik's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Susitna Valley, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.

Ninilchik wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 52-8 loss against Homer on the 25th. As for Susitna Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-24 defeat against Seward on the 25th.
