Clarkson/Leigh won the last time they faced Bergan Catholic and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Patriots put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 3-0 victory.

While Clarkson/Leigh won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-22, 25-16.

Despite the loss, Bergan Catholic still got an impressive performance from Zoe Janke, who had 23 digs and one assist. Janke has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Clarkson/Leigh's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Bergan Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-6.

Looking ahead, Clarkson/Leigh is taking a road trip to square off against Archangels Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on the 9th. As for Bergan Catholic, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Concordia at 7:00 p.m. on the 16th.
