Volleyball Recap: Naperville Central Takes a Loss

Naperville Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Shepard Astros.

While Naperville Central ultimately came up short, they really made Shepard work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 29-27, 25-21.

Naperville Central's defeat dropped their record down to 5-21. As for Shepard, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Naperville Central will square off against Naperville North at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shepard, they will challenge Stagg at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
