Benjamin Franklin's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Soukare Fane, who scored 14 points along with 5 assists and 3 steals. Nazire Johnson was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Sayre's victory bumped their season record to 0-0 while First Philadelphia Prep's loss dropped theirs to 0-2.
