Neumann skates past Gateway Charter with ease

Recap: Neumann Celtics vs. Gateway Charter Griffins

In what's become a running theme this season, the Neumann Celtics gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They claimed a resounding 65-29 victory over Gateway Charter at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 43-20.

Sophia McCartney was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Mylee Van de wouw, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and six steals.

Neumann's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-2. As for Gateway Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Neumann will play host again and welcome Bishop Verot, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gateway Charter, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lehigh at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
