Baseball Recap: Lynden Christian's Undefeated Season over After 11 Games

Lynden Christian managed to slip by Oak Harbor the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lyncs came up short against the Wildcats on Tuesday, falling 12-5. The loss was the Lyncs' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lynden Christian fell to 10-1. As for Oak Harbor, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Coming up, Lynden Christian will head out on the road to face off against Anacortes at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Seahawks will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Lyncs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Oak Harbor, they will be playing at home against Meridian at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Trojans' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
