Volleyball Recap: Taravella Starts Season with Victory Against Dillard

Taravella had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Dillard Panthers 3-0 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Taravella took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-7, 25-15.

Daniela Guarin had a dynamite game, getting 16 aces and one assist. Another player making a difference was Camille Camper, who hit 100% for nine kills and eight aces.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Taravella will take on Stranahan at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dillard, they will face off against Deerfield Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
