Basketball Recap: Trent Has No Trouble Against Lueders-Avoca

While Trent didn't have the best season last year (they finished 1-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against the Lueders-Avoca Raiders on Thursday as the Trent Gorillas made off with a 45-23 win. The Gorillas have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Trent's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Lueders-Avoca, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Moran the next time they take the court. Trent will head out to face Moran at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while Lueders-Avoca will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
