Jefferson-Morgan is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Mapletown on Wednesday as they made off with a 20-4 win. With that victory, the Rockets brought their scoring average up to 7.2 runs per game.

Jaymison Robinson was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Brayden Hanning, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Jefferson-Morgan kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mapletown only managed nine hits.
Brownsville couldn't beat Keystone Oaks on Wednesday even though they stacked five runs on them in the first inning. The Falcons came up short against the Golden Eagles, falling 14-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Falcons have suffered since March 25th.
Johnathan Vasbinder made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Benjamin Vojacek, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Jefferson-Morgan's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Brownsville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Jefferson-Morgan has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.6 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Brownsville struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.5 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
