Soccer Recap: Westland Hialeah Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Westland Hialeah was not quite South Miami's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell just short of the South Miami Cobras by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 5-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2022.

This is the second loss in a row for Westland Hialeah and nudges their season record down to 1-8-2. As for South Miami, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-8-1 record.

Westland Hialeah will be playing at home against Southwest at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Miami, they will venture away from home to challenge Homestead at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
