Baseball Recap: Kingsburg Vikings vs. Atascadero Greyhounds
The Kingsburg Vikings were able to grind out a solid victory over the Atascadero Greyhounds on Friday, taking the game 4-1. That's two games straight that the Vikings have won by exactly three runs.
Eric Garcia made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in eight consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
