Houston Academy is a perfect 5-0 against Long since February of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Houston Academy Raiders will host the Long Rebels at 7:00 p.m. Houston Academy knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Long likes a good challenge.

Houston Academy's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 4-0 margin over Northside Methodist Academy. The win continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won nine in a row.

Houston Academy hit Northside Methodist Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Nate Selig (2), Aidan Phillips, and Robert Egbert.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Long). Everything went their way against Highland Home on Friday as Long made off with a 10-0 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Rebels as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Houston Academy pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those six contests. As for Long, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.

Houston Academy took their victory against Long when the teams last played back in February by a conclusive 10-1. In that game, Houston Academy amassed a halftime lead of 6-1, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
