Basketball Recap: Wayland Takes a Loss

Wayland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 44-33 to the Holland Christian Maroons. The matchup marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Wayland's defeat dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Holland Christian, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 20-3.

Wayland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Holland Christian, they will be taking part in a tournament against South Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. South Christian will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something Holland Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
