Soccer Recap: Woonsocket Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Woonsocket was not quite Mt. Hope's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They came up short against the Huskies, falling 5-1. Woonsocket were not able to make up for their defeat to Mt. Hope from their previous meeting back in October of 2016.

Woonsocket is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14. As for Mt. Hope, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5-3.

Woonsocket didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 4-0 loss against North Providence on the 10th. As for Mt. Hope, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 0-0 draw against Coventry on the 14th.
