Football Game Preview: Port Neches-Groves Indians vs. Nederland Bulldogs + How To Watch

The Port Neches-Groves Indians will head out on the road to take on the Nederland Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Port Neches-Groves has seven straight wins, Nederland has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Friday, everything came up roses for Port Neches-Groves against West Fork as the squad secured a 39-7 victory. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 24 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Nederland lost to Lake Creek on the road by a 39-22 margin on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 346th, while the Lions are ranked 172nd).

Port Neches-Groves' win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Nederland, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Port Neches-Groves couldn't quite finish off Nederland in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 and fell 24-21. Can the Indians avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
