Football Game Preview: Adelanto Saints vs. Silverado Hawks

Adelanto hasn't had much luck against Silverado recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Saints will square off against the Hawks at 7:30 p.m. Adelanto will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.

On Friday, Adelanto was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 25-20 to Granite Hills.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 43 points the game before, Silverado was a bit more limited in their game last Friday. They took a hard 20-6 fall against Alta Loma. The contest marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Adelanto will have to contain Jayden Pauling as he made an impact in Silverado's last game. He picked up 110 receiving yards and one touchdown. Pauling got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 67 yards.

Silverado's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Adelanto, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Adelanto was taken down by Silverado 40-7 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Saints, Jace Weiss (who threw for 324 yards and three TDs while picking up 11.2 yards per attempt, and also punched in one score on the ground) won't be suiting up this time.
