Basketball Game Recap: Family Christian Academy Lions vs. Heritage Christian School Eagles

The Family Christian Academy Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 63-24 defeat at the hands of Heritage Christian School. Family Christian Academy has not had much luck with Heritage Christian School recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Heritage Christian School found their leader in underclassman Elijah Reid, who scored 15 points along with 4 steals. The match was Reid's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavyn Gailfoil, who scored 12 points.

Family Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Heritage Christian School, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Family Christian Academy will take on Landmark Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Heritage Christian School, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Merritt Island Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
