Inchelium came tearing into Friday's contest with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed by the Northport Mustangs to the tune of 66-25. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-15.

Inchelium found their leader in freshman Marianna Agapith, who posted 19 points. Another player making a difference was Hailey Peone, who scored 13 points.

Inchelium's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-1. As for Northport, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-8 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Inchelium will head out to challenge Cusick at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northport, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Selkirk at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
