Tri-Cities Prep put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the White Swan Cougars an 11-0 shutout. Give the Jaguars' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Tilden Shumway was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Janke, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.

Tri-Cities Prep hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least three batters in four consecutive games.

Tri-Cities Prep pushed their record up to 12-0 with the victory, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for White Swan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-10.

Looking ahead, Tri-Cities Prep will take on Liberty Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for White Swan, they will square off against Riverside Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Crusaders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.54 runs per game on average), something the Cougars will no doubt try to take advantage of.
