Volleyball Game Preview: Rocklin Thunder vs. Granite Bay Grizzlies + How To Watch

The Rocklin Thunder will square off against the Granite Bay Grizzlies at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Rocklin is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.

On Monday, Rocklin got the win against Oak Ridge by a conclusive 3-0.

While Rocklin won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-22, 25-20.

Rocklin relied on the efforts of Sophie Burns, who had ten digs, and Allison Hartsoch, who had. That's the most digs Burns has posted since back in September.

Meanwhile, Granite Bay unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Monday. They came up short against Folsom, falling 3-0.

Granite Bay was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Folsom work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-15, 26-24, 25-18.

Granite Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 13-19. As for Rocklin, their victory bumped their record up to 27-4.

Everything went Rocklin's way against Granite Bay when the teams last played back in September, as Rocklin made off with a 3-0 win. Do the Thunder have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Grizzlies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
