Volleyball Recap: Crosby Takes a Loss

Crosby was the 3-2 winner over Humble when they last played one another back in October of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars fell 2-0 to the Wildcats on Saturday. The Cougars just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Kali Mason paced Crosby's offense, picking up five kills. Mason were helped by Hannah Henry and Kylie Green, who contributed five assists each. Green was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Crosby's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Humble, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-3 record.

Crosby didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Benjamin Davis on the 19th. As for Humble, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Heights on the 19th.
