Recap: Dublin Coffman Shamrocks vs. Hilliard Bradley Jaguars
The Dublin Coffman Shamrocks won the last time they faced the Hilliard Bradley Jaguars, and things went their way on Friday too. Dublin Coffman came out on top against Hilliard Bradley by a score of 14-7.
When it comes to explaining why Hilliard Bradley lost, one person who can't be blamed is Bradyn Fleharty. Despite the final result, he rushed for 67 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
Dublin Coffman's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Hilliard Bradley, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dublin Coffman will take on Fairmont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fairmont will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 101st, while Dublin Coffman is ranked 29th). As for Hilliard Bradley, they will be playing at home against Newark at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Newark has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since August 25th.
