Softball Recap: Del Oro Comes Up Short

Del Oro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 14-4 to the Arvin Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-0 on Tuesday.

Eliana Munoz made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Del Oro's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Arvin, they pushed their record up to 8-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Del Oro and Arvin will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Suns see the field they'll take on Foothill at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Arvin, their break will end when they face Golden Valley at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
