Recap: Columbia Crimson Tide vs. Hamburg Hawks
The Columbia Crimson Tide lost against the Hamburg Hawks back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Columbia took a 34-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hamburg.
Columbia's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Cameron Mcclair, who threw for 146 yards and three touchdowns. Artie Poindexter was in the mix too, providing Columbia with two touchdowns.
Even if they lost, Columbia's defensive line sure didn't make it easy: Hamburg's QB was sacked five times before it was all said and done. Hamburg's QB won't forget Stud Campbell anytime soon given Campbell sacked him five times.
Columbia's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Hamburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.
Columbia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hamburg will be playing at home against Berks Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
