Volleyball Recap: Sabetha Comes Up Short

Sabetha was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Concordia Panthers. The Bluejays were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Sabetha sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 22-25, 25-20.

Sabetha's defeat dropped their record down to 3-28. As for Concordia, they now have a winning record of 16-15.

Sabetha has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Holton on the 11th. As for Concordia, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Marysville on the 11th.
