Santa Rita was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Benson Bobcats. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Bobcats when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-10, 25-10.

Santa Rita's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Benson, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-4.

Santa Rita has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Bisbee on the 2nd. As for Benson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Desert Christian on the 7th.
