Basketball Recap: Shepherd Comes Up Short

Shepherd lost against Mt. Pleasant back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Shepherd Bluejays fell 46-38 to the Mt. Pleasant Oilers.

Shepherd has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Mt. Pleasant, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-3.

Shepherd will head out to challenge Alma at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mt. Pleasant, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Lapeer at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
