Football Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were dealt a 39-6 defeat at the hands of the Allen East Mustangs. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-0.

Luke Rode threw for 116 yards and one TD. Lucas Millmine was his top target, picking up 87 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Jaxon Buzard rushed for 36 yards.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Allen East, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

Coincidentally, Jefferson and Allen East will both be playing Fort Loramie the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will head out to face the Redskins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Mustangs will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
