Soccer Recap: Powell County Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Powell County's offense. They came up short against the Whitefield Academy Wildcats on Saturday, falling 3-0.

Powell County dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Whitefield Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Powell County will challenge Estill County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Whitefield Academy, they will welcome Christian Academy-Louisville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
