Soccer Recap: MacArthur Takes a Loss

MacArthur lost against Berkner back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The MacArthur Cardinals came up short against the Berkner Rams, falling 5-2. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 511th, while the Rams are ranked 230th).

MacArthur has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. Berkner's victory bumped their record up to 6-4.

Coming up, MacArthur will be playing in front of their home fans against Dallas Jesuit at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Berkner, they will challenge Nimitz at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
