Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pine River-Backus). They blew past the Kelliher/Northome Mustangs 25-6 on Thursday. The Tigers have beaten the Mustangs the last seven times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Mustangs has come to flipping the script.

Eli Abraham made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Abraham was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with six RBI and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Pine River-Backus got a massive performance out of Grady Mongan, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with five stolen bases and three runs.
