Basketball Recap: Moundridge Extends Home Winning Streak to 14

Moundridge waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They took down the Inman Inman Teutons 48-32. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 60-47 back in December of 2024.

Leading Moundridge to victory were Cammi Unruh and Hattie Hecox. Unruh went 7-for-15 to rack up 18 points and four steals, while Hecox went 5-for-9 en route to 13 points along with seven boards and four steals. Unruh's evening made it eight games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points.

Moundridge's win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.7 points over those games. As for Inman, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moundridge will host Trinity on Thursday. As for Inman, they will square off against Little River at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Little River will roll in looking for their 17th straight victory, something Inman surely won't give up without a fight.
