Basketball Recap: Northeast Takes a Loss

Northeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Central Chargers, falling 50-24. The matchup marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Jada Smith was Northeast's leading scorer, having posted 13 points. Kassidy Davis held things down on the boards with seven rebounds. Indiasia Belll took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Northeast and Central will both be playing Southwest the next time they take the court. Central will head out to face Southwest at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Northeast will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
