Basketball Recap: Four Straight Home Wins for Calais

Calais proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 24) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lee Academy Pandas, sneaking past 53-50. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Blue Devils also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Calais' victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points per game. As for Lee Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calais will take on Penobscot Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lee Academy, they will challenge Schenck at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Schenck will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Lee Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
