Miller School of Albemarle won the last time they faced North Cross and things went their way on Friday too. The Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks blew past the North Cross Raiders 56-26. The Mavericks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 30 points or more this season.

Miller School of Albemarle got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Anna Smith out in front who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Valerie Swanson, who posted nine points in addition to eight boards and three steals.

Miller School of Albemarle's win bumped their record up to 18-9. As for North Cross, their loss dropped their record down to 6-14.

Miller School of Albemarle will have a chance to go back-to-back against North Cross: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
