Softball Recap: Lyndon Academy Takes a Loss

Lyndon Academy came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Scholars Guild Academy Spartans, falling 19-1. If the Terriers were looking for revenge after losing 16-0 to the Spartans when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lyndon Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-3. As for Scholars Guild Academy, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Coming up, Lyndon Academy will take on Trinity Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Scholars Guild Academy, they will square off against Covington Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Scholars Guild Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 14.6 runs per game this season.
