The New Hope-Solebury Lions will head out to face off against the Neshaminy Skins at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. New Hope-Solebury is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9 runs per game this season.

New Hope-Solebury is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Central Bucks South just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Titans by a score of 7-6.

Mabel Klossner put in work while hitting and pitching. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and four unearned) runs off nine hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs.

In other batting news, Dagny Mobley was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Neshaminy owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Tuesday. They skirted past Hatboro-Horsham 2-0.

Neshaminy now has a winning record of 3-2. As for New Hope-Solebury, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
